Echoes



Copy the dictionary definition of Onomatopoeia. The formation of a word, as cuckoo, meow, honk, or boom, by imitation of a sound made by or associated with its referent. 


Write out the words from the poem that show onomatopoeia. Roar Clap Stamp Shout Shakes Blows


Find two verbs from the poem. Clap Shout


Use the thesaurus to find a synonym for each verb. Slam Clap
