LI: To create a piece of insect art

 

This week inspired by art creations by Raku Inoue we went outside and collected leaves, twigs, and other plant debris to create our own insect images.

SLJ Week 1 Activity 1

 LI: To collect materials needed to successfully complete our weekly superpower building missions with Nano Girl.

This morning LS2 worked in groups with our Year 4 students to help them create their first Summer Learning Journey blog posts. PBS are still at school this week so finding some of the materials we needed for our treasure hunt was easy. Our challenge is going to be able to find all the materials we need at home now. This activity was interesting and very fun, for this activity we were able to improvise and use our heads to find some objects that were needed around the classroom. Me and Fau created a screencastify video explaining what we found and what Nano Girl explained in the video we have watched.

My best month for blogging was June because that time we started doing more blog posts. My worst month was May because that time we were learning how to blog on a Chromebook. My goal is 100 blog post I  have 82 blog post  I need 18 more blog post to do. I will have 83 blog post if I can blog this. My favorite blog post was the maze game because it was fun to make to maze game.

Guy Fawkes

This week we learnt about the origin and story of guy Fawkes. Guy Fawkes is a day where we get to send rockets off into the sky, but the origin isn't all happy. Guy Fawkes was originally a person who wanted to kill the king by using barrels of gunpowder. He was found guilty of treason and sentenced to execution. We worked in groups to learn about the origin of Guy Fawkes.
